Jim Sattler heads one of the largest general contractors in the USA, which builds dozens of shopping centers, office complexes, and warehouses each year. He also deals with hundreds of sub-contractors, making him the one who is ultimately responsible if something goes wrong. There was a time when Jim used bullying to fix problems. “I could get the work done,” Jim says, “but my approach typically resulted in a lot of staff turnover.” Finally, Jim realized that he could no longer use anger to control others and make things happen. He needed to trust God for the outcome instead of forcing situations. “People now enjoy working here,” Jim says, “and developers, customers, and subcontractors now want to do business with us.”
Do you struggle with anger or a need to control people? Perhaps it’s time you turned your life over to Jesus. If you’re ready to do so, we encourage you to pray the following prayer:
Lord Jesus, I want to know You personally. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of my life. Make me be the person You want me to be. Amen.
Saying this prayer is the first step towards a personal relationship with Jesus. We would love to pray for you and send you further information.
