Growing up, Ruth’s family was poor, so she worked as a hired hand on a farm to earn extra money. There, she met her future husband, Paul Lindholm. After they married, Paul managed a bank for seventeen years. The owner promised Paul he could buy the bank, but when the owner died, his will didn’t mention their agreement. The Lindholms lost a large sum of money they had invested in the bank, but Ruth was reassured by the story of a king in the Bible who had lost money but was told, “The Lord can give you much more than that” (2 Chronicles 25:9) Sure enough, Paul bought another bank, and it flourished. Ruth says, “I realized that material things just don’t count. Being in God’s will is most important.”

Do you believe God can provide for your needs? If not, let Jesus show you how. If you don’t know Jesus, we encourage you to pray the following prayer:

Lord Jesus, I want to know You personally. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of my life. Make me be the person You want me to be.

Saying this prayer is the first step toward a personal relationship with Jesus, who will guide and encourage you every step of the way. We would love to pray for you and send you further information.
