Pat Gelsinger was eighteen and straight out of college when Intel—the world’s largest manufacturer of computer microprocessors—offered him a job. Their view of him was: “Smart, arrogant, aggressive—he’ll fit right in.” Then Pat met his future wife, Linda, a devout Christian. Pat realized it was time to get serious about his Christian faith. His career also took off. Intel made him design manager of the 486 computer chip and named him as the youngest vice president in Intel’s history. Pat’s new responsibilities also included heading up the video-conferencing and Internet communication division. However, after four years of development, the project was deemed a failure. Pat took things in stride though, realizing it was God’s way of ridding his life of pride.

Is something holding you back from success? Perhaps it’s time you asked Jesus what it is. If you don’t know Jesus, we encourage you to pray the following prayer:

Lord Jesus, I want to know You personally. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of my life. Make me be the person You want me to be. Amen.

Saying this prayer is the first step towards a personal relationship with Jesus, who will guide and encourage you every step of the way. We would love to pray for you and send you further information.
