On January 27, 2002, while enjoying a normal workday at Amcore Investment Group, Patricia Fong learned that her eighteen-year-old daughter, Megan, a university freshman, had lymphoblastic leukemia. After several months of treatment, it looked like a bone marrow transplant would heal her. However, after the operation, Megan developed a secondary infection of the brain and quickly passed away. The Fongs stumbled through the grieving process. “Sometimes it is very, very hard, because we miss her so much,” admits Patricia. “When I feel low, through prayer and reading God's Word, my strength is renewed and I am able to go on.” Megan had been deeply involved in a campus Christian fellowship, and had been helping plan an evangelism campaign when she got sick—and Patricia has now picked up her daughter’s torch, telling others about Jesus.

Do you want to know how to find salvation? We encourage you to pray the following:

Lord Jesus, I want to know You personally. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of my life. Make me be the person You want me to be.

Saying this prayer is the first step towards a personal relationship with Jesus, who will guide and encourage you every step of the way. We would love to pray for you and send you further information.
