Ed Bjurstrom is responsible for overseeing Amgen’s construction projects around the world, which means managing a budget of around $2.5 billion. Despite this material success, Ed and his wife Wendy were caught up in a cult for most of their lives. When Ed first encountered the World Wide Church of God (WWCOG), he admired the dedication. But there were negatives. “I was abused mentally, physically and spiritually,” Wendy said. “They made you feel guilty, like you were never good enough.” In the mid-1990s, the WWCOG went through a change of heart and acknowledged that it had operated as a cult. At that time, Ed and Wendy recognized that making Jesus central was what being a Christian was all about.

Are you caught up in a false belief system? If so, it’s time you put Jesus first. If you don’t know Jesus, we encourage you to pray the following prayer:

Lord Jesus, I want to know You personally. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of my life. Make me be the person You want me to be. Amen.

Saying this prayer is the first step towards a personal relationship with Jesus, who will guide and encourage you every step of the way. We would love to pray for you and send you further information.
