Life Can Bring Joy out of Sorrow

Norma and Ed Becker have been married for 53 years. Thirty-eight years ago, Norma began attending a Bible study; where she prayed and asked God to forgive her sins. Ed was not interested in spiritual things, so she asked the Lord to do whatever it took to bring him to know God. Some years later, their son—also a Christian—was hospitalized with an inoperable brain tumor. After several months, he died. Norma loved her son, but she never became angry or blamed God. Her reaction to her son’s death helped bring Ed to faith in Lord. Now that Norma and Ed have the same goals, their desire is to serve God and each other. Norma also knows that they will be together with their son for eternity.
Have you gone through great sorrows? Why not establish a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ? You can do that right now. The following is a suggested prayer:
Lord Jesus, I want to know You personally. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life to You and ask you to come in as my Saviour and Lord. Take control of my life. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be
If this prayer expresses the desire of your heart, pray it right now and Christ will come into your life as He promised.
